WarnaSari Lifestyle Colours – Peranakan Chinese of Terengganu
Creating a three days Mid-Autumn (Mooncake/Lantern) Festival at the KTCC MALL’s Main Podium with a stage, themed decoration and seating capacity of sixty and standing room of another one hundred persons for the opening ceremony. Warna Sari is a feature of the event which is in line with the consequential sustainability of our previous year’s Terengganu Chinese Peranakan Lifestyle tangible and intangible items that shall preserve the culture to be enjoyed by the young generations.

For the past six years, since the formation of Persatuan Peranakan Cina Terengganu, much effort has been put into preserving this unique culture. This effort has even attracted the attention of the Mainland Chinese media, which now features the existence of the overseas Peranakan Chinese community. Although we have localised and embraced our Peranakan identity, we have not forgotten our 'Chineseness' by preserving Chinese traditions like paper cutting while enjoying snacks like Siren. Persatuan Peranakan Cina Terengganu has consistently documented these reminders through publications and has actively participated in Annual Peranakan Conventions with the International Federation of Peranakan Associations, which has affiliations in Penang, Melaka, Kelantan, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and Australia.
